Grass livery pros and cons.

Considering putting my boy on a grass livery. Four others in a seven acre field. All small ponies. Biggest 14 hands. What are Pros and cons of this type of livery? I’ve always had stable and grazing at the least. No storage there or person on site but it’s ten minutes walk from my house and really reasonable.

Land management would be my biggest concern- who looks after it and how? With that acreage for ponies they may rotate, harrow and rest but I suspect then there will be too much grass for fat ones so do they cut some for hay or leave for winter foggage? Or do you all poo pick? If so, every day? Does everyone pull their weight?
What about handling for vet and farrier? What if yours needed to be on box rest suddenly? Is there a pull in area for you to park and lorry/ trailer to load?
Is there water? Do you need to fill troughs? Tonnes of questions!
