Anybody use or used them, what do you use them for? Does the grass still grow a little through them?

Bit long winded and random, but were building a kids animal petting corner at our farm, got some goats and rheas who churn up the grass quite a bit and wondered if these would protect the grass a little in the day enclosures.
Any info gladly appreciated.

Yes, I have some and think they are well worth the money. They keep the ground firm and the grass grows well through the holes. I bought mine from carpetpac on ebay, but as yet don't know how they will last comared to more expensive ones, they do seem very strong though.

Thanks for that donkeymad, what is the actual purpose of them, are they suppose to protect the ground and restrict grazing or something different.
Noticed some on ebay tonight think theyre about £13-£14 ish is that a good price?

For horses the main purpose is to protect the ground from poaching.
