I know it is a bit late for this winter but helping my friend look for best makes of grass mats and best way to lay them etc. for next winter. Any advice be greatly received
Put something under them, or they'll eventually sink in weather like the current stuff. I use old hay swept from the shelter. They've been down all through the nasty weather and just need mud removing that has been trodden from surrounding area. People on my yard have them without a base and can't find them anymore! Otherwise just lay them. I like mine unpegged so I can lift them up for putting more hay under.
