Grass mats

Are grass mats any good to put in a field shelter instead of full rubber mats Have just ordered a 12/36 shelter and was thinking they may be suitable.

They are ok on flat ground that hasn’t got muddy, but I’ve found they do sink when it gets soft underneath. I have a layer of scalpings and then rubber stable mats in mine which works really well.

If it's the soft ones with holes in save your money. Al meleeka has said, they sink and also rip very easily.

I use rubber stable mats striaght on the grass in mine, they work well
