I feed both my boys emerald green grass nuts. They are both doing well on them but I'm having trouble getting some. I've used dengie ones before but struggling to get those as well. I think I know the answer but is there anything out there close to these grass nuts?

You can buy them direct from Emerald Green- they do good bulk discounts which off-sets the delivery charge and they have a shelf life of 2 years so do keep well

There are 4 local feed merchants to me and only 1 sells the emerald green ones which is a shame as they are the cheapest option, graze on also do a grass nut at £15ish a bag….other that it is thunderbrooks and dengie But they are also over £15 a bag.

If you can feed alfalfa you may be able to get alfalfa nuts. It looks like grass but is actually a legume, so change over gradually if you do.

We get Dengie at our feed store. I feed either grass nuts or alfalfa pellets whichever they have in stock so we are often changing back and forth. I don't find the alfalfa pellets affect them. I think the problem is more with the alfa chaff.
