I did feed the Simple System grass nuts but more for energy as opposed to condition. Yes, they did need to be soaked but not sure other brands need to be as sometimes grass nuts are found in some mixes.

hello I feed grass nuts my vet always recommends them for horses needed to put on weight and old horses with teeth problems. I fed them soaked as i soak their other feed but don't know if you have to, it dosn't say on the bag and I have heard of people putting them in those snack balls as they are.

I feed grass pellets for energy when required, my horse is on forage only diet, no need to soak unless preferred.....

I feed the simple systems 'blue' ones. SS recomended them as a substitute for high fibre cubes, which I was putting in a snack ball....so I don't soak them.
I don't think he's overly keen though, as there are some left on the stable floor on a morning.

I feed grass nuts well soaked to my old girl who can't manage her hay anymore. The vet here recommends them for keeping weight on oldies!
