Grass seed / Springer continued.....

Leaving off from springer who got a grass seed in between her toe last week, over the weekend she developed a lump just at her wrist then it popped open and now has a hole the size of a pea which now just looks red and inflamed (no puss), am i right to think that the seed has probably come out here or is there a good chance that its still there. Shes not lame or unwell at all and is on antiimflamatorys and antibiotics from vets so hopefuly all is covered.....

It does sound as though the seed has worked it's way back out through the hole further up, that is what usually happens to mine if I miss one at point of entry. I would probably continue to soak for a couple of days and if possible when you take doggie out pop a bit of vet wrap over the hole so nothing gets back in that way.
