Grass Sickness

just been told that 2 horses have been PTS in cornwall in the last week due to grass sickness.
im really scared that it could happen too close to home!! does anyone know the reasons for this and the symptoms?

This site should answer some of your questions. Its a horrible thing for a horse to go through but some do pull through.

It's not catching, you won't be affected. I lost my pony to GS a few years ago, yes, in the same field where I am now.
