Hello

I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to help me with the following question? I know roughly what needs to be done throughout the year but am struggling a bit with what needs to be done differently with regards to low lying pasture and hill ground

List the tasks to be carried out during the year to keep pasture in good order, specifying those suitable for low lying pasture and/or hill ground. Start in the Spring.

Thanks so much in advance

well i can tell you what we do and our grazing is good to v good

1. dee poo fields daily

2 . Feb Arthur ( our farmer) comes up inspects our land for work decides on what needs doing ( what weedkiller/ fertilizer)

3. end march -beginning april he harrows all our fields both ways

4 few weeks later beginning may he fertilizes out field s with what he thinks they need

5 bout 2 weeks after that he weedkills

. thats all his work done

we spot the raggy and pull it when we see it

we worm count

rest 2 fields and use 2 they have around 2-3 months rest

and we get complements on our grazing

you have to feed the land if you want the land to feed your horses
