Looking at the forthcoming weather forecast I think my boys will be stabled for at least a week. I will get them out as often as possible. They have ad lib hay anyway and a treat ball before I leave in the evening. I'm looking for something nice to keep them occupied whilst in. I've fed grass tastic before but as part of a feed so it was damp. Can you feed this sort of thing dry? Can anyone recommend something that I can put in a bucket to keep them occupied? I have a feeling they will just inhale it anyway but it's worth a try!

I like these - they are timothy so low sugar and starch and compressed into blocks so keep them occupied
SS do an alfalfa version too but I haven't tried them

I've fed Grasstastic dry, it's fine like that. They also do a lower calorie version Fibre Fabulous.

I used a few different brands as a treat rather than something to keep them occupied as were chomped really quickly.

Halleys grass blocks, or Timothy hay blocks will keep them occupied for a while.
A hay pillow is also useful. They can throw it about.

I give a mixture of chaff in a bucket and one scoop of high fibre nuts. They enjoy truffling around looking for the nuts.
