Just thought it was time to post a few pics of my 2 boys

First Xas, 2 years old, having some long reining practice. Finding it rather exciting at first!

then settling down and being all grown up...

Now my 8 year old Roo, who has been with me for 4 months - looking handsome before having some clipper desensitisation -

And having a cuddle (ok I know it is cupboard love but aww!)

Enjoying having a week off to spend with them at the moment!

have to confess.. I got an expert to introduce Xas to it, and she used a round pen to start with. It is much trickier in the school we find, as there isnt that useful guide to staying on the circle. We are just starting to take him out round the fields in long lines, beginning with one long lining and one (me) leading.

Xas looks like such a fun boy! And I love Roo - he looks like a chunky (in a nice way!) version of Cam especially the head - what's his breeding?

Xas is an American Bashkir Curly so he has a curly coat. You can't see it all that well in these pics but if you look carefully you can see he has curls inside his ears.

Roo comes from the bog somewhere! Am told he is Connie x Cob. I do think he has a pretty face and the bonus is he is lovely and chunky and as I am not at all sylph-like that suits me very well!

Cam's half Connie, so that makes sense. His other half is ISH, so in theory ID x TB I believe.
