Graze on Chaff- anyone feed it? Dust?!

As above really! I have been feeding it along madams Winergy to bulk it out, but have found it has started to get dusty! Anyone else feed it? What have been your findings with it?

I feed it. Not had any problems with dust so far. Could it just be a dodgy bag?

I feed it to my tb with dodgy breathing and haven’t had an issue, I do though always dampen it down a little (currently with warm water!).

It's my chaff of choice as it's always so clean. How long has the bag been opened or has it been kept in a damp atmosphere at all which might not help? If it's neither of those perhaps it's a dodgy bag in which case I'd take back to the feed merchant who should exchange it for you.

Thanks, I did think that! It's been open about a month, and is in an indoor barn, so not damp. I'm not sure the feed merchant will exchange it when i've used most of it, it's just at the bottom. I also found a "musty" bit, a bit like the must end of hay you get sometimes... pleased it isn't normally like that!

I've not had a problem with it either, been feeding it for a year now

No problemshere either, there is always a handful or two of ''grass dust" at the bottom of the bag but no mustiness at all.
