Inky is nearly one now, he is out during the day and stabled at night ( to help reduce the flab! ) He is only fed on Happy hoof and speedibeet once a day ( not youngstock mix because it is too high in protein for the mini's as they cant digest it as well as larger ponies ) However he is just not eating it, think he's just too full from the grass. Is it ok for a youngster to live just off good grass or do they need that little something extra?

Advice please!!!

I should think grass alone is fine. If you want to make sure he is getting all the right vits/minerals add a vitamin supplement such as Benevit.

My 2 youngsters are on grass and hay only as well, im sure your little chap will be just fine.

I like to feed mine all year round when younge, but if there is plenty of grass then should be ok especially this time of year... what a sweetie pony...
