Is there any? The fields all seem to be owned by Parks Trust, and are not ideal. Wonder if there is any farms around or fields doing nothing... Then again, I suppose they would all have been taken! We do pay a lot for what we have.
If you rent a field, how much do you pay? Just curious..

There are some fields used for grazing by the Loughton lakes near the Kam Tong restaurant. I don't know who owns them etc for I know they are definitely used for grazing! Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Thank you :0 I have feeling it is Parks Trust

Although I now own land when I ran a riding school I had just 5 acres.
the farmer next door knew I was stuffed on that amount and charged me £100 a week for a 9 acre field. It felt like being held to ransome but it was less than feeding all the horses on hay and keeping them in all summer....

We pay per horse here, and only two allowed in each field. I will ask locals and farmers again, they may be able to help.
Thanks
