Grazing in Edinburgh

I want to move my exmoor youngster nearer Edinburgh but my current livery yard (eec) doesn't take youngsters. Swanston has no spaces; don't want to go back to MM/MH/TF and all the ones out by vogrie are too far away for me.

If anyone knows of any grazing/ a field to rent in the Edinburgh area that would be great. Or if anyone could recommend a livery yard who might take him.

Sorry, I probably won't be much help - just wanted to say hello really as I'm in your neck of the woods.

I'm at Westmuir which is probably too far out for you, but if you are looking for something closer to town, there is a field at Davidson's Mains/the back of Corstorphine Hill used for grazing. I have no idea who owns it (just driven past it, really) but I am sure I saw an advert for it a couple of months ago on gumtree.

sorry to hijack the thread, but Edie82 do you know if Westmuir has a website? I haven't been able to found their details. Would be interested in hearing what facilities they have and what the rates are.

I've had a quick look for it myself - but gumtree isn't playing ball at the moment. I am sure it was something along the lines of "grazing available in Davidsons' Mains". Tried googling, but no luck there either. I am sure someone on here may know who owns the field, as there are quite a few horses there.

if your at EEC you could try hill head livery its litterally two mins away from there, as im at EEC

EEC takes youngsters? - I had my two year old there (before the horrible old witch nearly killed him then kicked me off the yard for the pleasure).

I think I've tried nearly every livery yard in Edinburgh haha
