Any tips on how to keep one on.....

So far ive tried, looping through ear holes on rambo sweetitch hoody, head collar over the top tied to the muzzle with twine and snuggy hood over the top of muzzle....the muzzle always lands on the ground!!! Someone already suggested plaiting it in, going to try that tomorrow......any other ideas?? x

Plaiting in can work if it's coming over the ears - put a band at the base of the plait as well as the end, helps keep it tight. If you're a bit handy you can also add a second throatlash like the one on the greenguard (I'm assuming you're using the bucket type atm?) that is snug when the horse has its head up and loose while it's grazing. My mate's mare drags hers backwards over her nose by dragging it along the ground and then breaks it by treading on it  so I've sewn her another strap from the headpiece to the front of the muzzle to see if that helps - it may need plaiting in as well...!

Good luck. It's no fun keeping them on some horses.
