It took a while, but we had the dentist today so I managed to get a pic of my horse's teeth. I can see wear on the lower teeth, the worst has no corresponding upper jaw tooth.
I’ve thankfully never had an issue with teeth wearing and muzzles. Mine wears the Thinline muzzle and has done for the last 7 years since the first came out. It’s the only way he can get any form of grass turnout without tipping over the edge. The last few years of Thinline have been very questionable in terms of quality. We seem to go through one per year which I suppose in the grand scheme of things isn’t too bad but it’s certainly pricey. I still have the very first one which is absolutely fine however I cut the hole in it bigger! So we use that for Winter. I bought the Litebite one this year to see what that was like but I’m not so sure. For me, it seems very heavy in comparison to the Thinline. I also had it on incorrectly to begin with, I had the slat horizontal instead of vertical. I think he managed out how to work it though, I’m not sure if he was getting more or less with it though and I just thought there was some weight to it so it’s hanging up ‘just incase’.
