Grazing - Peterborough Area

Hi,
Being new to this I am not totally sure how it works but I was hoping that one of you people would be able to help.....?

My son has recently been selected for the UK Tetrathlon Regionals for the 1st time as an open boy which is being held at The Grange Farm Equestrian Centre, Wittering Grange, Leicester Road, Wansford, Nr Peterborough. We live in deepest Devon!!!!

We were hoping to arrive in Peterborough Tuesday 2nd August and leave approximately Monday 8th August. During this time because "Jack" is a slightly elderly gentleman with 3 Championships (2xTetrathlon and 1x LeTrec) to go to in 6 weeks we are trying to look after him like the VIP he is. We are looking for someone as close to the venue as possible who has some grazing or at least a space where we can corall him next to the lorry for all or part of the week. He really does not enjoy being cramped up in a stable 24/7 when he is used to being out in 12acre fields for at least 12 hours a day at home!

If anyone is able to help or knows of anyone/a field this would be greatly appreciated.

I have a work colleague who lives that way on and their children are in the Burghley pony club. Why not try getting in touch with the DC for them and see if they can get help.

Sorry don't have the number to hand but if you look up wellyboots.com and ask to speak to Harry Brassey he should be able to help, he runs the yard where I used to stable murph which is less than ten minutes from wittering. There are tons of yards round here pm me if you get stuck and I'll see if I can help out.

Silly question maybe, but have you asked at grange Farm itself?
they do liveries and have lots of secure fields
