I have plenty of grazing, and would like someone to share with me, I put an ad on preloved . But have only had people ring who basically only want to turn up once a week, to see to their poor neds. Or people who don't seem to have a clue about how much is involved when you have horses. One woman asked me if I would be able to pick her12 year old daughter up after school ,and in the holidays,.as they had put a deposit on a 4 yrold tb and needed somewhere for it to go asap.... Nooooooo. Surely there must be some normal people out there somewhere. Can anyone suggest where else to put an add ..

Have you put notices up in your local tack shop/feed merchant? I know our feed merchant will point people in the direction of their notice board if they overhear conversations like this... dont know where you are, but we have charnwood tails magazine around here, or the welland valley feeds website/newsletter - so something like that may be worth a go!

Good idea.. can't believe I didn't think of that... I am in chesterfield, but I use a tack shop/ feed place in Sheffield

Try popping an ad up in Thomas Irving, Hooves Paws and Claws in Hasland and Cadmans? Before I found where we are now I was trawling thier notice boards.

I live between Chesterfield and Worksop. As above, all the local places with a noticeboard, also email local riding clubs for their website or newsletter. Equestrian Life magazine accept classified ads, think they don't charge.
Also let your vet and farrier know, they will have lots clients.
