Grazing with nose nets

My boy is going to be suffering this Spring/Summer if I don't get him a nose net for his intolerence to pollen. So, I ordered him a half nose net that just covers his nostrils and is attached to the noseband of his headcollar/bridle. What I want to know is, will it be safe for him to keep it on during the day whilst out grazing? He'll also have it on whilst out riding and off when stabled or when out during the night.

I thought this one was the better alternative to the full nose net. What do you think?

I think my only concern would be leaving head collar on in field although you can get the field safe ones. You could also try the equilibrium face masks + nose net as they are brilliant, comfy and stay put well. This is what we although it's for fly protection and to stop sunburnt noses in our case.

Can they graze ok with the face mask or nose net?

Ours manage fine, they snorted a bit at the nose net at first but soon got to grazing. Will be getting one for our big shire x lad in the next few weeks as they are a absolute godsend xx

I use a nose shield for my mare who has got a pink nose and gets sunburn.I do use a field safe headcollar but it stays on 24/7 in the spring summer.She can graze/drink no problem.She isent bothered by it at all.
