Does anyone have any good ideas as to how to remove grease/dust etc from a horses coat? Some suggestions have been hot clothing with dettol or soda crystals?

Thanks

well apart from what you have been doing and good old elbow greace (30 minute groom everyday before and after exercise) making sure your using the curry comb and banging out the dirt/grease on every 3rd stroke.

Also Lincoln Total Groom, spray on, brusk in well, bob a stable rug on and in the morning all that grease will have lifted through the coat up onto your rug....cheating yes but it works

hottest water you can cope with vingear on sponge and elbow grease. I assume we're talking about clipped horse. This will work on none clipped horses, but will ruin water proofing-ness of horse coat
