...As tittle really had a fabby day watching the smexy horses at the nationals at stoneligh.

But was quite disturbed by the 'wild boys' pas de deux by spencer and andrew, and no, not by the drooling of hundreds of house wives and gay men alike, but by the fact that they performed without a hat- not even top hat or beagler! Infront of a massive and admiring crowd which did concist of children, one child sat behind me asked her moither why she has to wear a hat!!!!! Not very PC, not big, not clever and definatly a bad influence!!! Its BD rules to wear a hat- be it protective or not, so why should they not for a display???

it's ridiculous! why have safety standards when they're so casually ignored?! especially when it's so public, do what you like in the privacy of your own yard but at the nationals that's totally unnecessary

I remember reading in the H&H article about Sandy Phillips that they'd had to "convince" her to wear a hat for the pictures and thinking she gave totally the wrong impression through that. Meant to write in but as with most things...never got around to it.
