Had a brilliant day at flyball tournament today at Wood Green.
Not only did Monty's team come first, and Skye's Team too but Jess had practice runs in competition for the first time since her injury last July.To me this was as good if not better than the rosettes--it was so lovely to see her having fun again.
Weevil--I looked out for you but no luck. Did you come? If so what did you think? By heck it was noisy at times, I think all the dogs were so pleased to be back playing Flyball.

Well done!
I did come along but I don't think I saw you (it was so busy!).
Sprocket was very scared and overwhelmed at first but with lots of treats he did settle down so hopefully he won't be too scared at our competition next weekend.
I managed to watch one of my club teams race and they did really well. Not very highly placed but they all ran solidly which was great!
Can't wait till next weekend now when I actually get to have a go :D:D

Sorry we didn't meet up. One day I'll meet a fellow HHOer.
Mind you, as you say it was busy and we had teams in 6 divisions and also did ring party so hardly had time to breathe.
Good luck next w/e Weevil Let us know how you get on.

Glad your dog is mended, one of ours has been out since last Aug too and will start doing warm ups we hope at next comp which is on 18th Feb at Gap Farm but really looking forward to camping again at Drax and Carlton Towers....might see you this year Goya?

Sorry to hear about your dog. It is so pleasing when they make a comeback. I'm sure people think I'm crazy when I say how much Jess enjoys Flyball and how she has been really down for the past few months because she couldn't do it. Today after running in practice yesterday she has been so much happier. And even better news is that she has no stiffness or any "after effects" after running yesterday. That was the test because if she had done then she would have been definitely retired.
Be nice to meet up somewhere--we're at Gap Farm on 18th Feb. Not going to Carlton though as Jess and Skye don't like the sound of the guns from the Game fair.

Hi Goya, we will be at Gap Farm hopefully on the Saturday so we must introduce ourselves!

That would be great. we're there Saturday and I'm running Monty with Molten Meteors (unless our team captain changes the teams between now and then.) Skye is running with the Molten Metals. I'm not sure if Jess will be able to run in practice as Oh isn't coming so I will be "on my own"
Monty is the noisiest dog! so you should find us. lol
