The snow didnt stop play which was the main concern for todays work on my yard.

So 1 of the guys whos working at my yard gave us a start date of week beginning 8th March to start building my arena.

Hes busy for the next 4 weeks so he came this week to start ground preparation at the top of my yard, but this has worked in my favour as the hardstanding he has put in to allow the lorries in/out of my yard is now lovely hardstanding for my horses

no more mud for them or me

Am so pleased with the 2 guys that have been working at my place over the last 2 days, theyve even sorted my fencing out and even got me the 2 large bales of haylage out that I needed for my horses tonight

Am going to be soooo excited over the next 4 weeks, cant believe its happening so quickly

I bet you can't wait now for it all to be done. It sounds like they have already done you a huge favour in sorting the ground out and disposing of your mud.

spike the mud was the main issue at my place as were on clay (only found the extent out really when we dug down to lay water pipes)
cant believe though how it looks - was fantastic poo picking at 6am this morning

its fantastic hun isnt it and thats not taking into account where the arena is going. im so happy with how everything is going - cant say im happy with the new addition who decided she must dig at the stone before enjoying a good role! little bugger lol, but with her cute face she can get away with it

and of course you are more than welcome to come over and have a ride in it when you want with any of the girls.

i cant wait to see the finished project, its wierd but im taking photos all along the journey of transformation at my yard - you wouldnt believe what it looked like when we bought it - nothing but mud - there were about 20 horses on 3/4 acre so imagine the mud!
ill be boring you all with the pics of building it soon enough
