Great day,success at last

my weanling,now yearling will now pick up his hinds. Hurray hurray. Success came today,I aquired an old fashioned wooden grannies walking stick. Having got him used to being touched all over with it i hooked it round his hind fetlock and said "up". there was some kicking but as i was out of range i was able to keep appliying it until he stopped kicking. I am so very very pleased, he was such a little star,from now on itsw onwards and upwards.

and today,about an hour ago,i picked up a hind hoof,colt in the stable,stood relaxed,no headcollar. what amazing progress. I am so chiffed i could laugh and cry. all winter ,unable topick out his hinds. much much success in a short time space now. yessssssssssssssssssssssss
