great experience

I recently had a lesson on a dressage school master. wow! the difference between him and the horses/ponies Im used to riding is huge. It really made it clear what i need to work on-my position being a big one as instead of bringing my shoulders back i tended to lean forward-which i dont ususaly do but with such a forward horse that works properly it was so different. Ive got alot to learn but i cant wait for another lesson. Anyone else had a simular experience? just thought id share

Similiar to yours, I got blonked on a recently broken in five year old. I couldn't get over how different it was to a kick along plod. It really makes you wake up and think, hold on. Just because I can get the plods going, doesn't mean I can ride every horse im put on. Really opened my eyes

yeh it's a big learning curve but in a good way!
