Hi all - I never come in this forum due to not owning dogs but thought I'd post this in case it interested anyone 
When I was on holiday in Koh Lanta, Thailand this Feb, I saw an advert for a charity who wanted dog walkers - Lanta Animal Welfare (http://www.lantaanimalwelfare.com). OH and I went along one morning and took a few lovely dogs out for a long walk round the village and to the beach
The set up of this charity is fantastic - Koh Lanta was the only place we stayed in Thailand where we didn't see malnourished stray cats and dogs, and in fact many of the hotel and bar owners have adopted animals from the charity who are now very much loved They're obviously changing attitudes and making a huge difference.
I saw on their website this week that they're advertising for a new centre manager and thought someone on here might love this sort of opportunity (did I mention it's based on a beautiful and relatively unspoilt Thai island?!). If I had any experience in this line of work I'd have applied myself
If anyone is interested please do take a look. I have no connection to this charity other than as a regular donator so I hope this isn't taken down... They also do volunteer placements (accommodation included) and placements for student vets if that interests anyone too.
