Gloat alert!
Had another lesson on twigs tonight....god my baby impresses me so much with the way she is coming on every week! Her trot positively floats and after much effort on part of horse and rider we achieved complete self carriage in canter for the first time and her back was seriously swinging! (fair enough we can only manage that for say 2 20m circles but its a start!
) We also did our first bit of lateral work today doing leg yield in walk along side the arena fence - very hard work on mums part in terms or weight aids and cordinating myself but very rewarding when we got a few really nice strides with her steppping under! Instructor thinks bramham byeh next year is a definate. Not too sure if we can get her out to the 4yo classes this year simply because I dont have my own transport and we wont be able to get her enough competiton experience to cope with the atmosphere.
Must try hard to blag a lift to rc dressage beginnning of next month - could be exciting!
Anyway, sorry for the gloat! Just thought I would share how proud I am of her today she absolutely tried her heart out!
