Had a lesson today on Harry
It was great. Started off with the basic - get him streching over his back with walk and trot transitions and 'fake' transitions were i ask for walk but just before he gives it me push him back up to trot.
We then did some Counter canter, teaching him to strike off on a shalllow loop and hold it for half a side before going across the diagonal to the 'correct' lead. He was a litle sharp doing this so only did the twice on each rein properly.
Then we learnt Shoulder-fore, basically shoulder in but on 4 tracks not 3 in walk and trot. After this he asked me to trot across the long side and ask for some extenstion in the trot as he was working from behind well and it was like someone had let off a bomb! He really flew forwards (in a nice way tho lol) and extended down the long side
