This photo just popped up on my facebook. I know it is just a snapshot in time, but they do say a picture says a thousand words..

Bet the grey wouldn't be in the photo if he was bridless like the bay. I am always impressed by this and appreciate the training that must go into riding sans bridle. Goibg by the photo alone, the bay is being urged on and the grey is being held back.

Yes I see that (: ... If the girl riding the bitless horse wasn't in control I doubt she would be urging it on, the girl on the grey looks to have no control - I guess it is more of a picture to show time and method in training rather than bitted/bitless debate..
 
Wow, I think the point is though guys that if the great was bridleless it would have under gone enough training she'd be keeping him steady with a neck strap ;)

I often do this with my boy in the school and have been doing so over the last few months but can't ever imagine trusting him enough to do this, must be an amazing feeling.
 
Does it look photo shopped to anyone else? With the position of the riders hand and effects on the neck and face of the horse. But I am on my phone !
If not, great photo :)
