I took my Deauville Trailer out with one of my horses in & while at the show the monster was pawing the floor & then spooned his front leg around, caught the rubber hanging from the partition & ripped it

. I had to trim it off before he either did more damage or injured himself.

Anyway I decided tio try & fix it so drilled out the rivets that held it to replace them & refit the rubber but obviously needed new rivots, & it was difficult to get some.

I emailed Bateson Trailers & they have put some in the post to me...free of charge!

Over the years I've had the trailer they have been so helpful. Pretty pointless post really but just thought some great service should be mentioned amongst the usual moans & groans we normally post about some companies.

Oh....it'll be up for sale as soon as I've done the repair, got a lorry now

Intresting post! I have a batson boston, and the same thing has happend to mine, and was wondering how to do it, so thanks for the tip, I have also found batson good for spares, like new wheel rims, and door locks, resonable price and good service.

Same thing happened to my Ascot - a brattish pony I was showing for someone.

The repair was dead easy - luckily we had all the rivots to hand, but Bateson have sent us bits before - I didn't even buy mine new from them!!

I always reccomend Bateson trailers to anyone looking

They really are great when it comes to customer service! I e-mailed them enquiring about the correct tyre pressure for our Derby. Got a reply an hour later saying what it was, and that they'd put one of their small 'manuals' (for lack of a better work!) in the post for me! Was absolutely chuffed!
