I took breeze to our first proper show today, and we didn't win any rosettes apart from the minimus, but she improved lots and jumped great.
In the ridden hunter class, we werent placed good experience, lovely photos friends took, she got a lil excited and kept changing leads, and she saw the jump and went sideways! but she produced some lovely work at times.
We had a trantrum warming up refusing, got angry gave a few cracks of the whip, and jumped with feet to spare! arund 2ft 6ins.
2ft 3in we got a clear and then we had the fastest time in JO but two poles on the floor to finish 7th or 8th. First clear at show with her!
2ft 6in really tight and twisty course up to height, got a refusal at a really scary wall and then rolled off the last pole so 8 faults.
2ft 9/3ft was full up and very wide with only 2 people getting clears! and just tapped a pole on the blue wall biggest jump on the course, lots of probs there, girl fell off and most people had it down, however i took my time round the course so i finished just out of placings. However she jumped so much better since i swopped her bit to a pelham and considering i was expecting to be eleminated in the 2ft 9in 4 faults is fab...
As results go it doesn't sound a good day but for our first proper show together and her first outing for at least 2 years, we had a fab day, loads of brill photo's to come tomorrow evening.
