I've done my online entry... even though my memb. renewal is currently with BE

.. and they've balloted quite a few in the past... dont really fancy my chances but hey ho we'll see !

Got my ballot sticker reserved (hhmm when it arrives!) on Salperton so fingers x'd I will get the run there !
 
Moon will hopefully do her first novice there, I'm all entered etc it just depends how her prep work goes in the next few weeks.
Looking forwards to more of a challenge!!
 
Yep entered.
Im helping on the sunday (dressage steward) so shouldnt get balloted.... or better NOT!

Will use sticker for Salperton tho!
 
hhhmmm if I was off all weekend I could offer to help out too

but very quickly running out of holidays to take !
My manager has already made a comment about the amount of time I've had off.... a half day for the hairdressers is more than a good enough reason I say! lol
 
What's the Novice course like? Skinnies? Big ditches? Difficult water? (Because Liberty might not sell straight away after all, be silly to having sitting in stable if no-one wants him

Boss - are you asking to be in the special novice section with the long arena? Not sure about my two - 60m is a long way to trot in a straight line

T_E i would def aim for Lib for this as a good novice run.
Not too technical, youll be fine, just think of it being a mini blenheim... you managed that okay

unless theyve dramatically changed the course!

First three fences straight forward fence four double of hedges, off set. Log oxer (shared wiht PN i have a pic of me jumping that) then a brush turn down a drop to skinny! no alternative, everyone jumped it!
Hanging log, then two skinny houses, fairly big table then another hanging log, ditch/brush - lush! shared with PN then the quarry, wall drop up a step over a fence. Then a pheasant feeder thing before the water and another on the outer - all very straightforward, up the hill small fence in a tree.... then a set of bear barrels to finish.

Oooh I didnt see that but no, I think Moon would get lost in a 20x60 at the moment!
