Had a brilliant weekend up at our Highland cottage. The weather couldn't have been better on the Sunday and the dogs had a blast. Because we had the kids with us, hubby and I didn't get up any of the munros (and there are five in the immediate area and eleven in the glen in total) so that will wait until next time. If anyone is ever looking for a dog friendly, walking holiday then you can't go far wrong with this area.

What has anyone else been up to with their dogs this weekend?

that looks stunning :) do you do holiday lets?

All we did this weekend was practise our recall and a bit of tracking. Fitz is having to learn everything so lots of basic commands and learning to walk on a lead.

and some of this

Wow that looks stunning!!! Very jealous

Nothing much to report here - weekend spent hacking with the horse and walking the dogs in the local woodland.

What amazing photos! Looks totally gorgeous! Where about it is?

We were away racing with our GSP sled dogs this weekend - both teams managed to bring home silver medals which is always a bonus :-)

Quarrie looks to be very pleased to have Fitz as a new pal. Has Fitz settled in now?

Yes, I do let the cottage out :) Not sure if I am allow to link or not but here is the FB page

looks lovely-very tempted but not sure OH would want to be out of contact for that long (very frail parents etc).

Fitz is doing great, fast learner!

uh oh, I'm a rule lover! I was the kid with the rules out every time.... and double checking things as we went along :eek3:

maybe we could sit at opposite corners with a good book inbetween dog walks?

Looks stunning! We're currently looking at a dog friendly walking holiday for Easter but unfortunately Scotland is a bit far from Gloucester!

We had a family gathering this weekend so Daisy had to put up with my brother's rather loud dog. Thankfully we all survived and just collapsed on the sofa when we got back on Sunday night ;)

I always hate it when people quote reshowing all the photos, but just wow to that countryside! If it wasn't for Ms Sturgeon I could move to Scotland. I may have to make use of your cottage one day.

Gorgeous photos and dogs everyone.

Vallin - what breed is the dog on the right hand side of the photo?

Ester - I am sure I can fit you up with something :D
