Great witchingham abandoned for all days

B***er! Not entirely unexpected though.

I'm quite relieved as I had Pippa Funnell in my section and it's always disheartening to be beaten by such a huge margin.

Do i need to contact anybody to get my refund or does it just get sorted out. Sorry to ask so many questions, i have only just started to BE so i don't know what i have to do.
 
It will be sorted may take a few days to the longest was nearly a month. Also depends how you entered refunds are quicker if you entered online.

Quite pleased really, didn't fancy the 3am call or driving the lorry in the high winds.

Problem for us is we are away next week and can't do Burnham, also Brigstock our next JRN is the day before AS level. That just leaves Downham and those out of area.
 
I am sorry for all of you hoping for a run & sorry for the organisers who do a great job .

Non -horsey husband won't be sorry though as he didn't relish being stuck in the car with me smoking away & our new delinquent puppy !

TBH the sec and team have done a great job, very helpful and quick response to all questions. Really feel sorry for them too after all the work that have done. I love Gt Witch as David and Maggie always make you very welcome.
 
I'd agree with that . I started judging there 5 years ago & they are so pleasant & helpful .

It's a shame that the event doesn't always seem to be that popular with some riders , but Norfolk is a ' difficult ' location unless you're fairly local , I suppose . When I go on holiday , it takes me the best part of an hour to leave the place as it's off the beaten track & so large a county !
