Hi guys, hoping to do the PC ODE there on sunday, we've had loads of rain here in north herts, just wondered how its been over that way. Got a horse that can't cope with firm ground at all at the moment and I've heard you've not had a lot of rain.
Any comments or thoughts would be greatly appreciated as 90 miles is a bit of a trek for a dressage test!

Well Tuesday night it was lashing it down, I cut my usual walk round the cross country course with little dog short as I got soaked! We are due more rain tonight and Sundays forecast doesn't look good, so bring your water proofs.
There's a good grass covering on the course and take offs and landings are prepared so it's looking much better than a month ago.

Yep, no problem, I will be popping to see Bear on my way home. I only live 10 minutes away and the ground here is much better so hopefully the going will be good.

Don't worry about hard ground, it was looking great tonight and it's raining again now, I think it will be fine. Looking at the forecast now, Sunday should be OK till later in the day - but this was the BBC so will probably change by the morning.

Good luck, have a great day.

Thanks once again Bearsmum - we hope to be there on Sunday, so fingers crossed that it's good going and not too boggy!
