I wonder if we own the greediest pony in Britain?

He'll eat ANYTHING. You can't leave anything around or he takes chunks out of it.

After a week in a starvation paddock, he's getting pretty desperate. When we went poo picking tonight my eldest took his new toy with him. It's called a Boogas, and is like a rubbery stretchy bogey man, filled with slime. Pretty yuck.
he dropped it, and quick as a flash ponio was there.

I am sure you can imagine what happened next

.

Ten minutes later, after being in a headlock (courtesy of OH who was muttering about huge vet bills) and having had me search his mouth we resigned ourselves to having lost it.
Suddenly ponio coughed and spat out the remains, a chewed up green gooey ball.

Frantic call to manufacturers to find out if it had toxic filling, thankfully it's safe.

Can anyone elses horse or pony beat that for sheer greed??

I was going on a ride with a friend once her horse tried very hard to scoff a condom packet! LOL, what I wanted to know is how it got there!

He literally eats ANYTHING! his owner was eating a chocolate eclair round the corner from him, cue escaping pony and stolen eclair! LOL

Sorry but am LMAO here!!

My pony is greedy but he can't hold a candle to yours! Rhyn certainly wouldn't eat a green slimey action figure! I could put an entire bale of hay in at night and he'd eat it all and still be hungry - I've never known him to leave hay except when he'd had his throat op and couldn't physically eat.

I went to the sales a couple of weeks ago and drove through the yard to find 2 ponies with their heads stuck in a bag of Power Cubes. Someone

had left the bag in the middle of the yard, minus 4 scoops, and they had the rest. Someone had also forgot to switch electric fence back on (entire place runs off mains in my tack room), hence they escaped

.
That is pretty greedy, but to eat a handful of bran with 6 big scoops of epsom salts each, is even more so!
Max on another of his escape missions last winter (you can see where he is supposed to be, with others in the background):

P.S. Both ponies were perfectly ok, must have guts of steel.
