Can anyone recommend me a green tweed jacket? Budget of around £150 or a tad more for a very special one. Ideally it would have a red overcheck but that's not essential. Must be available in a size 10/12 and here's the clincher - it can't have a blue velvet collar! Must be either plain tweed or black velvet, no blue allowed!

I'm looking on Pretty Ponies but unless you pay £225 to get a custom one made up the cheaper ones seem to all have a blue velvet collar, besides which it's a little more than I wanted to pay anyway.

There were some on equestrian clearance, caldene, i think. I got one for my daughter for £89, its green with a pinky line through it. Bargain!

Ohh, you're a genius, I hadn't even thought to look on there!

There are several nice Caldene ones actually. How did you find the fit of your daughter's? I'm technically a size 10 on top but quite tall so the arms normally come up too short for me.

My daughter is a size 10, shoulder to cuff is 61cm, underarm to cuff 44cm. Hope that helps.

Super, thank you! Extra special thanks if you whipped out a tape measure just for that, lol.

As usual I will probably be between sizes, will go and compare to my current jacket and see if 61cm will cut the mustard.
