George is in a greenguard muzzle at the moment and he is getting on with it, but it really worries / annoys me that there is no breaking point in the headcollar in case the horse gets caught. I think someone on here said they adapted theirs in some way, how? Don't suppose anyone has a picture?

Thanks

take the metal / plastic ring out of one side, and replace it with a strand of baler twine which has been split down the middle.

Or just use a leather or fieldsafe headcollar.

I did just this

I replaced the metal ring on one cheekpiece with a piece of plain string.

Ive taped back the throat clip and replaced it with a couple of loops of proper twine from the garden centre, so it will snap if it needs to.
Hope that is helpful- have never quite got round to seeing how to put pics on!
