For the first time ever I went into the field and called for them and they both came cantering over looking all happy to see me :D
Made me feel very happy and "Awwww!" Got their rugs off, a good scratch and cuddle before cracking on with the never ending poo picking  but it was so nice to be greeted in such an enthusiastic way, usually I have to meet my boy halfway down the field as he plods up to say hello ha ha! :D

Ahhh I love it at this time of year when mine notice me too. Once the spring grass comes through I'm sure they'll go back to ignoring me until it becomes apparent that I'm not going to go away :)

The first time my new mare saw me approaching and wickered I actually felt like crying I was so happy :o I had had her a few weeks and it wasnt going great so to me it was a massive step forward and pretty much sealed the deal ;)

How sad am I, lol :p

Awww I love it too, even though I know it is because they think they're getting food haha. My big mare has stopped doing it a bit since she has had her new companion (focuses her attentions on getting to the fence first and chasing her away the big meanie) but the little one is so vocal I notice she has lost her voice slightly haha!

Mine is moulting a lot at the moment so when I had hsi rug off today I gave him a long itch, which he loved and turned his head right round to itch me back (he's very gentle just uses his top lip to rub up and down on my back) I was stuck there for 20 mins (and I suspect given his way that's where I'd still be!)
Lovely when they so enjoy your company

Every time we go to charlie he trots to the gate and calls to us :) always makes me smile even if I'm feeling grumpy lol and he pretty much puts his nose in the headcollar himself :D

Mum's mare does this to her when she goes to the field... but then she knows my mum is a walking vending machine ha ha! :D I don't treat except on rare occasions so she doesn't whicker at me :D

Yup they saw me and were like "YEAY FOOOOOD!" not "YEAY it's MUUUUM!" ;):D Mind you they don't get their hay till I'm ready to leave because they have grass to much while I poop pick and groom/cuddle/scratch etc so maybe I'll just let myself go to that place where I think it's coz they were just happy to see me ha ha! :D
Loki is a right meanie to Pippa too, he's always chasing her away from the hay piles, apparently they are all his  Poor Pip :o:D
She was funny today too, she's a right grump face but she wanted a groom from Loki so she went over to him with a face like thunder and started grooming him till he groomed her back :p They make me laugh! :D
I've also seen them play a lot over the last month, cantering about and rolling which they didn't seem to do a lot of at the livery yard so I think they are really loving their new field :D

Ebony really loves me at the moment, think I am a walking or should say wobbling food supplier, come the summer she will go back to having selective hearing again. bless. Mind you they are all so cute when they do this arrrrrrrrrr .
