Grey/white tummies and girth colour for showing..

I am having the girth straps on my saddle made normal (is a VSD but came with dressage straps) so I just wondered what colour girths you use on yours greys/coloureds for showing. My boy is pretty much all white (blue and white) and I am just unsure what colour to go for in the show ring, a nice white one or a havana leather one? Is it just personal opinion?? What do you use?

I have a havanna one on D (he's pali but in winter is almost gray).....matches his tack!

I don't think there are any rules though.....but not certain!

I have always thought that and do love a leather girth, getting slightly too excited about buying them again but have heard things about them giving the effect of the horse being in two parts or something like that hence my post as I cannot remember

A brown leather one, i think only grey ponies look ok in a white girth

You can get white Stubben Trevira girths. Would be my choice

Not sure my taste is reliable as I dress PF in pink rather a lot!

for cobs/hunters then go for a leather one

Always used a white one on tommy who is a darker/steel grey

If its a horse that you are showing then probably a brown would be best or havannah what ever suits your saddle .
