So after a week of box rest, soaked hay, me picking and feeding him armfuls of nettles and goose grass, trotted him up this afternoon. He ran out of bute on Monday, ditto the sedalin. He is short on his left fore in walk, slight shortness in trot . . . not pottery on the turns, no digital pulse I can feel, no heat, no dips in the coronet band, no thrush that I can see.
Vet was supposed to be coming tomorrow but hasn't confirmed. Will get the farrier out to take his shoes off and ask vet to come out and x-ray. Honestly, I expected to see much more of an improvement so am very disappointed. Also, now questioning the lami diagnosis . . .
