Gribaldi Trakehner Stallion Of The Year

At the Trakehner Stallion Grading/Show in Neumünster on 23-26 October the Trakehner stallion and Approved KWPN stallion Gribaldi owned by Joop van Uytert is to be honored as a Trakehner Stallion of the year...

This is down to his own performance at Grand Prix level with Edward Gal, but also that of his offspring:

Painted Black ridden byAnky, Sisther de Jeu also ridden by Edward, Ruby with Diederik van Silfhout who was European Champion of the Young Riders, and Moorlands Totilas very successful in the Light Tour.

I am so excitied about seeing him at Neumunster. I do gte annoyed when people refer to him as a Dutch Warmblood - he is a great example of Trakehners being used to improve other studbooks. And I do love his stock. So often I see a Trakehner I like, and there turns out to be Gribaldi somewhere in its pedigree.

Also being awarded Elite staus are Connery (especially pleased given I have a number of his relatives in the field), King Arthur and Hofrat. Can you imagine how exciting the gala evening is going to be. I have palpations already!!!
