i have a griffin synthetic saddle that has a hole on the pommel for what looks like an allan key to adjust it, does anyone know how to adjust the size (i need to make it bigger) do you just turn it with an allan key?? help!!
many thanks

I used to have one of these yonks ago and if I remember correctly you did just use the allan key to alter the width. I had bought mine second hand off eBay and it didn't come with a special key or anything, we just used whatever allan key we had that fitted. It worked fine.

Thanks spyda, that's great! Mine is quite old and came with the horse so I have no clue how to adjust it! Will give it a go later!
Thanks!

Many will have seized up so be careful you don't break it. They haven't made them for years and years so the youngest must be getting on for 15yrs old now!

Might be worth trying to ge a little WD40 onto the plate if you can (try using a can with one of those red nozzles on it and sliding it under the fold of material at the pommel)
