Well, many of you probably dont know Jiggy's story as i have only just tarted using the forum again after going to HHO rehab.... but im hooked again! So here is a little back ground to fill you in on why i am sooooo blooming happy tonight!

2 months ago my friend rang me and asked if i wanted to have a go at riding a horse that belongs to the owner of her stables. All she said was that he was forward going. When i got there everyone at the yard was really suprised i had come to ride Jiggy, because people had given up on him completely. He had been used as a companion for almost 3 years. They tried selling him but everytime someone came to look at him he would tank off at a hundred miles and hour, because you cant ride him like an average horse/ Basically, he is a showjumper who wants to go top speed all the time, he does have breaks..... but you just have to find them!

And today, after 2 months steady schooling and quite a few fallings off. We spent the first week galloping in quite small circles! I nearly gave up but his little face is so kind! So we soldiered on and today went out into an open field for the first time.... and he was excellent! He did a little bit of jogging on the spot but he calmed down and we even managed to trot without tanking off! I am sooo pleased with him and he is the sweetest horse! His owner sarah is really pleased that we have clicked and that someone understands him!

I am so so so happy that all my hard work has paid off! Hopefully we can start hacking out more and maybe even have a sedate canter! Soon we are going to start serious work on getting him back into the show jumping circuit. He has won around £500 pounds, but not doing it for 3 years could mean he is rather excitable.... hehe let the fun begin!!

Wish Me luck!
