I have found the interim solution to the fat Appy's sliding saddle problem 
(The long term solution is of course for the diet and exercise programme to work)
I bought an anti-slip tray mat,from a local housewears warehouse, it is very thn and holds everythng in place properly
It is doing the job of the 'proper' grip pad, which is too thick to go under the saddle while madam is as large as she is at the moment. Thought I would pass this money saving tip onto everyone else who is having the same problem
