I was wondering if anyone has any full seat breeches with either a suede seat or a sticky seat? And if so are they any good, for instance when cantering do they help a little to keep your bum in the saddle? Thanks

yes i do think they help. and they look smarter too- i always buy cavallos (the cheaper ones that are about £90) they are pricey but really hardwearing and comfortable....

Second the vote for Cavallo. Full seat definitely give you a bit more stick but won't glue you in place unless you have a suede type saddle.

Another vote for cavallo's pricey but i just couldn't ride in anything else these days. Plus i do find that they last a good long while & are so comfortable & as i buy the high waisted ones help give my lower back some extra support.

I've just bought some of the Toggi Reno breeches - they have the suedey seat which is also stretchy. So far I'm highly impressed, the quality is great & they were a fair bit cheaper than Cavallo's!

Cavallo's or RTS all the way.

The bentex seat on the RTS is so sticky they warn you not to ride in synthetic or suede saddles! (and yes I have through nessecity sp and yes getting off is a challenge!!)

I have a pair of heavyweight genuine suede bummed joddys and they definitely gave me more grip (well, less slide anyway!).

Thanx guys! I went out this morning and brought some Caldene ones with the suede seat and then went riding and they defo gave me more grip! x
