Can anyone give me any feedback. on The Backpack Groom'n'vac. I'm thinking of trialing one but don't want to waste my time (or money!!). Thanks.

Don't know anything about that make, but had an original grooming machine years ago. Never found that the horses were scared of it, just used it switched off on them for a few minutes, then started it well away from them and moved closer slowly, just like you would with clipping. We didn't use it that often, but it was brilliant when they were really muddy as it swallowed all of the dust rather than spreading it all over you, and also fab when the hairier types were shedding their winter coat.

I just use an normal house hold cylinder cleaner on my horses and they are fine with it I find it great to get the coat clean especially before clipping

A friend of mine has got one. Don't know what make it is, but she loves it. She uses it a lot and it really picks up all that dreaded scurf that you never seem to get rid of.
