Ground Conditions at Windsor

So I’m going to Windsor Horse Show tomorrow and need to make a decision on footwear. If you went today can you tell me how muddy it was at teatime? I suppose I could put a pair of wellies in the car but I don’t want to wear them all day.

They usually have metal roller walkways in the shopping area and entrance.

I’m competing there tomorrow. They’ve put lots of trackways down and shavings etc but think it’s going to be very muddy.

I've cleaned up my Grasmeres and will be wearing them, but have made sure the straw hat is in the car! (And shades!)
Loads of tracking and covering down on walkways etc, will be fine in grandstand and shopping areas but will need horsey footwear to get up beside the Copper Horse and Adelaide rings. Car park across road pretty wet, tomorrow is pre booked parking only now.

I do need a proper pair of country wellies, I currently only have green Dunlops and they would be horrid to wear all day. I was too filthy to try any new ones on at Badminton, though .

The showground itself is perfect so far, and the public parking is only just opening, but I wouldn’t wear trainers…!

Rara. Might come and say hello though be a bit embarrassing asking people if they are Rara. We’re currently queuing to get towed in. Is always chance OH may just keep going straight back home ……
