growing/height question

My TB was 4 in july - shes 5 this year. When i got her she measured 16hh (in july), she now measures 16.1! (as from this week)
I though thoroughbreds stopped growing at 4? will she get any bigger??

yes she will. wont fully mature til 6 ish!!! and she will bulk up!

Am hoping she will bulk up a bit! shes very fine

do you think she could stretch to 16.2?? i dont mind as am quite tall at 5ft9.5!

My TB completely finished growing and filling out at 8

He was never raced and allowed to develop slowly which i think makes all the difference!

my mare was bred for racing, sent away to be broken when she was a 3yr old and sent back as she *didnt have it in her*

I know why!

If it helps my lads mum was 16.1,his dad was 16.3 and he is a full up 16.3

Holy hell he is compact

,and got one hell of a shoulder on him

Expect another inch maybe 2 then

Tb's tend to look gangly for an age then suddenly fill out and look even bigger,lol!Mine did,up until he was 7 then the following summer i was like "this horse has grown again",he hadnt he had just filled out a vast amount and looked twice the horse he did
